LF: Team Canada Jerseys

Looking for one female and one male team Canada jersey. I got tickets to the World Juniors and want to pick up some jerseys before jersey prices get insane.

Which style? Earlier this year, you could find the 2010 Olympic ones consistantly for about $70 at the usual outlets like Sport Chek or Jersey City.

If you're looking for one with the Hockey Canada logo on the front or the new alternate jersey they just released, I think they are usually the same price as the replica NHL ones ($120-$130 ea)

It's not like stores jack the prices closer to gametime. Its just sizing and availablility which might be the issue.

Or you could buy a knock-off online for much cheaper....

I've got a 1998 Nagano one $60, and a 2002 Salt Lake one($20, small cigarette burn on the inner sleeve, didnt see it when I got it off kijiji)

I also bought my 2010 Olympic jersey at River City Sports. It was a couple of months ago, but was around $60.

I just ordered an Eberle Team Canada jersey from icejerseys.com, I spent yesterday running around Lethbridge trying to find somewhere I could try Canada jerseys on for size before I custom ordered mine. Sport Chek has Team Canada jerseys for $129, and some Jersey City's may have leftover Olympic ones, but I'm not sure of the prices...Lethbridge had a XXL but it was still $129, same with Sport Chek. As dubc80 said, I would buy one sooner rather then later, as sizes will become hard to find. All I could find was L/XL/XXL yesterday until about the third store I went to (I miss living in Calgary..such a greater size selection!).
