We are looking for some new GMs for our sim league.
The league has been in operation for 3 seasons, so it has gone through most its growing pains. It has many current CP members and GMs who have been around since the beginning. It's a pile of fun without a huge time investment, and is a great way to GM and develop your own team, trash talk other teams, etc.
Information
- You run both a pro and affiliate farm team
- Is a full 30 team league (60 teams with farm)
- It is a sim generated rating league, so
players are rated and re-rated based on performance in the sim NOT NHL performance, so giving the right players icetime, calling them up at the right time, playing them on the right line with the right strategy, and activating them from their junior team at the right time matters.
-Full rookie draft every year
-Games are simmed by the STHS software which means you get full boxscores, stats, and even game logs (player x passes to player y, player y takes shot on goal, etc.)
Contract extensions and UFA is also handled by the website. You deal with an agent who has a certain number in mind, and the player will agree to re sign based on term, team location, team standings, how good other players of the same position are, morale etc. Its a very fully featured system.
The time investment isn't huge, lines and strategy can be set 10 games at a time when you're busy.
