Let's see how they handle this in comparison with Sony. So far, they are much more upfront about it.

I always found it weird that Steam would store your credit card info but not your birthday.

Steam finally stores your birthday so you don't need to enter it every time!

I'm more surprised that Steam doesn't ask for the security code on the back of your credit card whenever you buy a game.

I never chose to save my credit card info when purchasing stuff on Steam. I'm hoping that is going pay off now if they managed to get into the encrypted info.

I've been changing passwords a lot this year.

Great... Sounds like the CC numbers werent stored in plain text like Sony.

I've always used Paypal as my option when purchasing a game. Although if there was one company I thought was safe to expose my credit card number, it would've been Steam.
