Default Help with a Live Feed

So,

If anyone has any suggestions on companies for this, do it yourself ideas/hardware/software or anything else, please post!

My girlfriends mother is getting married in Jan, her Grandpa is in a nursing home, and unable to be transportation to the wedding. They asked me if I could set up an live online feed to the wedding.

Does anyone know a good starting point for this, and if it is possible without breaking the bank?

Thank you

Kavy!

Does he have access to a computer? Better yet an iPad?

Facetime on iPad would be the easiest way, if you can get a couple of iPad 2s.

Skype video calls could work too.

With ustreame, what type of hardware would you consider? I am hoping for something that may give a better picture than a webcam

You would definitely want to hook up a video camera via USB rather than a webcam or even a DLSR camera.

You might want to test them out. It's been awhile since I've used them and they may be ad supported now. Don't want Grandpa to be interrupted by Axe Body Spray ads halfway throughout the vows.

ha thank you. Ustreame is ad supported, but you can pay $100 to loose the adds for x min of streaming.
