I'm trying to build a team that consists of players that are decent and cost efficient at their positions. While Olli is a good player, he's going to cost quite a bit to resign and probably a little too much at that. Greene is a decent player and is well worth the 5.5 he's due for the next couple years.

It sucks losing a pair of centers in the same day, but both these trade help with my long term plans so it's all good.

This is a case where the fact that the contract of Jokinen is expiring makes it an easier deal for me to make. Jokinen gives me a veteran to play in the top 9 - which I needed after yesterday's Voracek deal.

My 2nd pairing is now a little weak but I can try to upgrade that as the season progresses.
