Breen, Howse and Macmillan are sitting out.
James Martin is in for Breen.
Bancks is one of the forwards in....first game of the year......good to have him back.

Heh, Meyer just had a breakaway, PBP guy says it's their fifth breakaway of the season, plus one penalty shot.....haven't scored on one yet.
First period over, 1-0 Heat.
Pretty much all Heat in that period, with the Admirals only really getting what sounded like one good scoring chance.

Incredible tempo to this game. Everyone is finishing their checks. The Admirals definitely look like the weaker team out here.
By the way, there are upwards of 12 scouts here right now. The same Florida scout is here (one of the former Flames pro scouts).
This is a really fun game to watch. Martin doing great for his first game in the AHL.

Ryan Thang ties it up, right after he scored Byron hit him from behind into the boards.
Byron is ejected and the Heat will have to kill off a 5 minute major.

Oh no.
Now a roughing call against Mikkelson.
5 on 3 for 2 minutes unless the Admirals score.

Lots of scouts at the Heat game according to Ryan Pinder.

I'm told there are over a dozen scouts in attendance tonight... I don't know what this means!

Guys, Byron didn't hit the guy from behind. He lost his footing after he scored the goal and went head first into the boards. Scary play no doubt, but Byron didn't hit him from behind.
As for the scouts in attendance, I see Florida, Detroit, Nashville, Philly, and Dallas scouts. Many more than that though, just can't see them.

Are you just that familiar with these guys, or do they have some sort of identifier?

The team logos are on their suit jackets, most of them anyways.

Overtime. The intensity has dropped significantly.
