Years ago a buddy of mine made some chili for a Superbowl party. IIRC he poured half a bottle of Franks hot sauce in not knowing how much to add. In the end noone could eat more than afew spoonfuls.

Half a bottle of Franks was too hot?
If you had said too salty, I'd sympathize.
Try some of this next time you want hot http://extremefood.com/shop/home.php

I had one, and it was definitely the hottest thing I've ever put in my mouth. Ice cubes, cucumbers, milk, yogurt didn't help; it felt like someone had a clamp on my tongue.
What's the hottest thing you've ever eaten?

This one time I cooked up a can of Campbell's Chunky Beef Stew in the coals of a campfire. No, I'm not an idiot, I opened the can first.
The soup bubbled and boiled and the label burned right off and I took it out with some barbecue tongs and set it on my cooler, and the can burned a nice ring right into the top of it.
It was definitely the hottest thing I've ever eaten.

Mexican Buffalo Wings from the cafeteria at the Marketplace in Anaheim. Like these guys know what they're doing. Not even that sweet stuff that they serve in huge glass jars can get rid of the heat.

I have a sauce in a bottle at home where it has a warning on it to read before trying it. It says up to 3,000,000 Scoville's. I literally put less than half a drop in a bowl of soup and it's too hot. It's great to whip out for macho dudes who think they can handle it. It's burning in your stomach that you just can't get away from even with milk. Crazy stuff.

Medium salsa. Totally serious. Can't handle the stuff.

I had this stir fried noodle dish from a street stall in Thailand that I asked to be made the way the cook liked it. I have no idea how it would rank on a spice scale, but it felt like the food was burning its way straight through my gut like thermite through steel.
Edit: It also led to the worst ring of fire encounter I've ever had.

I have a bottle of Susie's I bought in Antigua. It's made of either habanero or Scotch Bonnet so 100,000+ and pretty much as far as I will go because I like hot but still would actually like to finish a meal.
I love serranos, pablanos, jalapeņos, and the various dried versions as well. I tend to cook with them rather than using a hot sauce.

Sounds like Pure Cap... Had some wings with the sauce made from it - we had to take my buddy to Emerg - he panicked and felt it was burning through his stomach the dr said it probably was. They said it's dangerous stuff and should only be used as an additive not a hot sauce - holy crap it was hot. Fingers and lips stung for days... As bad as it was going in it was way worse coming out!
