Your prediction(s) for the next 100 years

A lot has happened in the last 100 years or so.

Manned flight, evolution of the automobile, medical science,earths population of humans from 1 to 7 billion....you could go on and on about how the last 100 years have changed everything compared to the previous centuries(fairly boring IMO)

My predictions for the next 100 years:

-The first cryogenic (frozen human) brain will be awaken in the body of a brain dead patient.

- Because of water and food supplies every country will have population controls for only 1 child per couple. "Canada will be the last to comply".

-The age of the universe and the big bang theory is proven wrong,it's much older and it didn't come from something smaller than an atom. Our observable universe was originally an extremely large sphere of matter that gravity caused to blow up. The biggest question for scientists will be where did the sphere come from?

Can I explain my thinking? not a friggin chance, but hey, it's a predictions, I don't need too.

I always liked to think that the universe was something of a moebius loop, that you could keep travelling outward, but eventually you'd return to the beginning.

Anyway, I think fly-by-wire for cars is something that will come of age this century. I would love if the rush hour commute was controlled by a higher intelligence.

I think cold fusion, and thorium nuclear reactors will replace the current energy systems. I believe that we will develop anti gravity technology as well. We will see advances in medical technology that will see most diseases being wiped out and most genetic disorders being able to be rectified.

Additionally, we will form a lunar colony and have the starting elements of a colony on Mars.

We will see 1 child policies instituted in countries that have exploding populations like China, India, etc. In countries like Canada and the US that are actually seeing a decline on populations, it's not imperative as we're already heading in the direction of lower populations.

I also believe that we're just starting a economic depression that will last for the next 15 to 30 years and will result in some wars (civil and otherwise). The out put of that will be an economic boom as countries will try new ideas to stimulate the economy.
