Wild/CBJ hook up for a deal
The Wild are pleased to announce the acquisition of Jason Pominville.
Pominville arrives via a deal with the Jackets that sees Marty Havlat and a 2nd go back the other way.
GM Farhall:
"We are giving up a ton of shots so far, and that is going to catch up to us eventually....so we targeted a strong two-way forward that can help us on the PK and defensively at even strength. We like Marty but the reality is we have a lot of players of his ilk and needed more balance in the lineup".
