Default Halloween costume - need help

So here's the deal: I need help with a part of my costume that requires some sewing.

Basically, I have a mask and a torso piece, but I need a piece of stretchy material (say, black spandex or whatever) to conform to my neck, and go from the mask to underneath the torso covering.

Any suggestions on where to go to get this sort of thing done quickly (ie: Before Halloween)?

Go to Value Village or Goodwill and get either the body of a kids dance costume or a leg of some running pants?

Or a black turtleneck/dickie?

Snap, that's a damn good idea. I'll check them out.

Depends if the turtleneck would cover enough. Basically I need from my collar bone to half-way up the ear (at the back of the head) covered. Also needs to be breathable since this costume won't exactly be easy-breathing to begin with. The more ventilation, the better.

Yeah I'd say buy a cheap pair of kids stretchy pants and use one of the legs.

You don't need a seamstress..
Just turn them inside out, put it on, then staple it to desired tightness, take it off and then turn it right side out.
Done.

You are my hero.

Not enough people practice staple sewing.

I remember Halloween 1985... I was 4.

... 4 months.

I like Halloween at this age because women have this unspoken side competition to dress in the most provocative stuff possible.
