Found a game worn Tackla Finland national team jersey with Selanne 8 on it in a thrift store in Winnipeg while I was working there. $4.99!
Went down to the Jets office after a practice and got Teemu to authenticate/sign it for me.

Tough to say, as I do hunt for deals as much as I can. Recently, however, I was hunting for a new mattress to replace the old futon I was sleeping on. I really hate buying mattresses, I am probably the world's most finicky sleeper, so this time, I was determined (mainly after reading through the two great CP threads on mattress buying) to go out and get a bargain.
I waited for the "back to school" sale, price-checked mattresses at Sears, Sleep Country, and The Bay, relentlessly haggled with any salesperson that would talk to me, and ended up getting one of those fancy Simmons Beautyrests (the bowling ball mattress) for about 70% off the sticker price. I think with boxspring, the set normally went for around 2200, and I paid 850, including free delivery.

The bottle depot once paid me $12 bucks for 5 cases of empty beer bottles, ended up walking out of there with over $72 overall. They knew they messed up but they enter evrything into their till as they sort it, there was no going back. She totaled the till and was like "oh well". I looked over the till tape and saw the error but since they didn't care I didn't care.
I also got my truck registered for $5.31 one year, the lady effed up debit payer thing, she should have entered $53.15, I would have said something but I was served by the two rudest woman that day, so I decided "good for me".
I do still consider myself to be honest however. I got good stories about my brother to and my brother in law for that matter but they aren't as honest as mine.
