No effort for this as the games are on and I am watching, but like always, this rangers/bruins games is great.

Lucid hammered Nash and Nash retaliated and took the minor, bruins score 1 second after the pp ended.

It has been an incredible game thus far.

These two teams are the class of the league in my mind.

What is going on in Toronto and Montreal?

Is it just a coincidence that both teams have gone younger and are winning?

Both teams also have new coaches too.

Are their rosters just that much better than the Flames?

The Oilers led the western conference after a month of hockey last season.

Wow.

Josh Harding, who was recently diagnosed with MS, told that he wasn't feeling right, and so Kuemper will start in his first NHL game tonight for the Wild.

Looks like the eastern conference final this year may be for the Stanley cup.

The JVR trade was absolute larceny and the Habs problems last year stemmed heavily from a terrible coach. Also the leafs are getting good goaltending from their young guys.

Fantastic job by the refs to get the Lightning back into it. Feels a little like 2004...

Ottawa wins Buffalo 2-0 and Anderson gets the shutout, 42 saves. He's having some kind of season at the moment..

Wonder why no Matt Hackett, who iirc played well in injury relief last season.

Crazy goal in Edmonton. Bounces off the backboards, off dubnyk's back and into the edmonton net. Tied 1-1 now.
