Default Anyone knows what's happening at around McDougall Hall downtown right now?

I work on a building across from McDougall Hall downtown, and there seems to be a serious situation going on in that area, because we have snipers and SWAT team members in our office setting up equipment!!! And they seemingly aiming in that direction.

I will for sure not ask them what's going on. Anyway one knows of anything?

Twitter user "Crackmacs" has been posting about it as well:

Got word that snipers are set up on 5th ave as well as cops and additional support down on the street downtown. Whats going on?

It's at 5th ave & 6th st SW. More teams suiting up I'm told. Going to see for myself. Back soon.

I was in a cab a while ago DT and I asked to be dropped at Crack Macs. Cab driver had no idea what I was talking about and said he'd never heard the term before.

True Story.

That's Pinner in the back of the van - CPS got sick of all his anti-cop posts.
