Default Engineered / Quartz countertops?

Which engineered / quartz countertops have a finished topside, but the bottom looks like almost cement? lie the top looks liek quartz, but not on the bottom? underneath, you can see almost what looks like over spray as the quartz look goes away and a rock/cement-like look begins (ovbiosuly you cant' see that part)

Trying to help a buddy ID his countertops...

I am beginning to think it's a quartz top, given my readings online. The top is finished using the colour and resin desired, but I believe the quartz slab itself is just a generic rock color, so it explains why the top and sides and few inches underneath are black quartz looking, but underneath looks like compressed rocks / cement?

It could be a concrete countertop - these are apparently becoming more and more popular. It's poured regularly, with either a finish mixed prior to pouring or after to the top. I don't know much about them but I know someone who recently had one poured.

There are a few of these around. Caesarstone as was suggested and Quantra is another. Are you trying to match it?

Most stone surfaces (naturally made or manmade) have unfishished, dusty-like undersides since they don't bother polishing the undersides (obviously).

We're just curious as to what it is - it's certainly a man-made quartz top, just wondering if there's a way to tell if it was caesarstone or Silestone, etc - you'd think they'd stamp it somewhere inconspicuous.

Yes, sorry about that typo. Got photos? I used to build concrete tops. Do you see any fiberglass on the bottom, that was our method. Quartz seems unlikely but until I can look at it I can only offer wild guesses. After looking at it I can offer mild guesses
