Women's Flames Jerseys
Hey all,
So basically I'm just wondering where one can find a Flames' jersey for a girl. Sounds dumb I know, but I'm curious as to how the sizing works and all, and if a Men's jersey could somehow fit someone small and petite (barely 5' feet and small frame too).
It's not a big deal if it's slightly large obviously being a jersey and all, but I remember going around the Dome last year I saw plenty of women with 'fitted' jerseys with the 'C' shield being really tiny? If I could somehow find a women's jersey with a regular sized 'C' that'd be wicked, if not though then just some help on sizing and where I could get this that'd be helpful.
I went to Flamesport and Jersey City and I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking on at there to be honest.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I bought my gf a kids medium. She is small and it fits nice (a little tight, but that's what i was hoping for)

There are women's cuts out there if you look for them, but yeah, the Flaming C is on the small side. Just don't let her pick out a pink Flames jersey. That's just wrong.
I do have one question. Why would you even consider dating someone who didn't love the Flames enough to have their own (non-pink) Flames jersey already?!

I don't believe they make a woman's fit with a regular sized C, only with small ones.
I have a kid's extra large in the 03/04 style and the C is the small sized. My retro jersey is a Man's small and the C takes up the entire front of my torso. I'm about 5'4 and not very big. It's kind of uncomforable to sit in, but I hate the look of the small C on the woman's jerseys. And the C isn't made of the same fabric as the men's jerseys. It's much cheaper and not as stiff.

you could always buy a blank flames jersey (reebok sells blanks of all their jerseys) ....should be $30-$40 and then buy a flames patch on ebay and sew it on
that would give you a ladies cut with a big 'c' on the front

Because they're that awesome? My fiance was essentially born a Canucks fan and we've been together for over 5 years now. Love knows no boundaries! Buying her a Canucks jersey was quite tough, I have to admit.

You gotta be like the Catholic Church, you have to perform either a Conversion or an Exorcism.

I've never seen a womens jersey with a regular sized C either.
All my jerseys are a mens small and they're all pretty roomy on me (5'6, pretty average build). I don't mind though 'cause I can wear a few layers underneath (I hate wearing a jacket over my jersey... not sure why, it just drives me nuts). Same as what MissTeeks said though, about the massive C being kind of uncomfortable when sitting, but I'll never buy a womens jersey (especially the pink!) so I just tough it out (or drink 'till it doesn't bother me anymore).

I now have reason to doubt that you understand the meaning of the word "awesome".

Why don't you just buy a Cannots jersey for yourself while you are at it?! Shame on you.

Yeah Fanattic has them. Don't know if they still have the sale on, during the regular season at the Dome location they were on for $40.
My issue with the women's version is that the C is screened on, not actually a crest. And the issue I've found with most women in a kids jersey is that the sleeves are way too short. Neither are a perfect solution, but both will work.

I can only imagine what you're like to people you meet who mention they like the canucks.
I lived in BC for most of my life so I'm totally used to Canucks fans. Much like with Oiler fans, after a while you learn to just nod occasionally when they talk about their team.
The fiance gets to make fun of the Flames, in return I got to laugh at how bad the Canucks played in the Finals. No fist fights or anything!

I bought the small womens cut flames jersey and I love it since its fitted it fits nicely I also have the flames 04 jersey in a kids L/XL because the medium and small fit around the waist but the sleeves were short also I find the shoulders are a little bulky so I prefer wearing either my big winter classic or the womens fitted to games
