Default Grass seed netting

I've got a problem area on my lawn, it's a steep slope, prone to erosion. Also in direct sun a lot. I was thinking of using some of that grass seed netting that's used for slopes and growing grass, they use it in the parks like Nose Hill and Edworthy/Bowmount in the restoration areas to protect from erosion and allows the grasses to grow through.

Any idea where I can find some of this? I've been searching google for awhile and can't seem to find anything.

Thanks

I bet at a good garden centre (e.g. Sunnyside) -- they sell the netting that does the opposite (prevent grass from growing) so I bet they'll have (or know where to get) what you're looking for.

Barring that, give the parks department a call - they can possibly steer you the right way if it's at city parks.

if the area is large enough to warrant the expense, I'd suggest renting a slit-seeder. It might also be called a power-seeder.

the machine is about the size of a lawn mower, and it cuts a shallow slit into the ground, and drops the grass seeds into the slit. This guarantees soil contact for the grass seeds, and since it is slightly buried, should resist erosion while the seeds germinate
