Just came across a trailer of this movie, and I like it. Russell Peters, Rob Lowe etc.

I think I even noticed Sean Avery in the trailer, is it him?

This movie is debuting at the Toronto Film Fest in a couple of weeks.

Another hockey-related movie, Goon, is also premiering at the festival -- it's directed by Michael Dowse (Fubar) and stars Seann William Scott (Stifler) and Eugene Levy (Jim's Dad). Looks promising, especially in terms of rock-em-sock-em hockey flicks, which many might despair for being in short supply. More info here.

And, it's good to see the film industry move forward with hockey films after Score: A Hockey Musical basically got a lifetime suspension from the world.

I want to see Goon. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I find Sean Scott and Eugene levy pretty funny.

Nice to see that Sean William Scott is back at it after rehabing.

Eugene Levy was alright in the Pie series but then his schtick got tiring especially in the "the Man" with Samuel Jackson.

I guess there is another American Pie coming out next year, American Reunion.
