A loss for all of us who were hair metal fans back in the day. I saw these guys in concert back in their hayday, good times. RIP.
Waarant was pretty sweet. I can still rock out to Cherry Pie.

Flags in front of strip clubs everywhere are at half mast today.

RIP, even though he made horrible, horrible music.

Wow he sure looked different in short hair. Sad news as I owned a few of their albums in the day and 47 is pretty young.

Saw him live in Manitoba in '03. It was the first time Warrant headlined a major show. (15K people for an outdoor festival). Only reason was because the bassist for Poison (who was supposed to headline) had broken his back a week earlier.

You could tell Warrant was pumped up about it. Great show. RIP.

The drawback of being a old 'has been' rocker in a hip hop world is that it was probably overweight middle aged pie that had seen way to many 'dinners' in between producing 2 or 3 kids.

He HATED that Cherry Pie song. I saw an interview with him where he said that the band went to the record company with what they had recorded and they said we need a single. He wrote Cherry pie in one afternoon or something and thought it would just be a throw away that would satisfy the record company guys...Little did he know it would come to define him and Warrant as a whole. You could see the anguish as he was describing the whole thing. Sad, but I imagine it was a double edged sword for him as it made them a crap load of money and somewhat of a household name for a couple years. I think he was hoping for a better musical legacy than "Those dudes with the Cherry pie song".

I have always wondered why so many celebrities meet their end in a seedy hotel room.
