Default Good places to Rollerblade?

I finally picked up a pair of Rollerblades and want to take my friend somewhere other than Prince's Island Park for a skate

She finds there's too many hills and such in fishcreek and at glenmore, so are there any other flattish pathways in Calgary that's good for inline skating?

(and yes, Lloyd's was brought up, but I dont want to deal with tweens)

down in the south/eastern part of fish creek it is pretty flat. If you went from somewhere like the Green Gate garden center area to Sicome.

The paths along the river in fish creek should be flat enough for fruitboots.

Hey, don't hate on him for trying to get into his friends pants whilst rollerblading. It is just a means to an end.

Maybe he is trying to move out of the friend zone and into the pleasure zone.

Glenfield east to Sicome is very flat with only a couple rolling hills. For no hills at all park at Sicome in the back entrance (closest to 22X) and you can go for about 5k's along the river on new paths that aren't damaged like some of the paths near glenfield. Stay away from the West side of the park by Marshall Springs and the biggest hill in the park at 37 Street.

Depending on the distance you are looking to go for you may want to park by 52 Street NE and there is a path that goes out to Heather Glen if you go east or you can go west to Deerfoot and either way is a good by east has less other people on the path so likely better. Very smooth paths.

Another great spot but can be busy is south glenmore park to weaslehead.

I'm not so sure rollerblades will work that magic.

What if he is wearing tight lycra and a neon green headband. What lady could resist a bulging manpackage, blades and neon green?

When I lived just off Heritage I used to rollerblade around Glenmore Dam (or at least go part of the way around it & then turn around). Nice-looking area with Heritage Park & the Boat Club right there, and of course the mountains on the other side. Mostly flat with some good dips to keep it interesting. Lots of benches too when you get tired, with good views. Recommend.

I went to Lloyd's recently for a 70's birthday party. Appropriately dressed as Wooderson from Dazed and Confused.

Didn't your male "Room mate" just buy rollerblades to start skating to work?
