Chicken on the Way quality?
I like to support local businesses when I can, and they used to be a good alternative to the KFCs and A&Ws of Calgary. The last couple of times I have picked up chicken there it seems like it was left in fryer for too long, the flesh is almost devoid of moisture.
Any thoughts on this? Am I just going at the wrong time 5:30-ish or something? I want fried chicken, but I really want to avoid KFC and similar fast food joints.

There are rumors of orgies in the basement of this particular chicken establishment.

I've heard that the original Kensington Road location will be shutting down to make way for a new commercial development.

Try noon? I recall my friends used to walk there during lunch and it wasn't bad when they brought the remaining whole pieces back to the high school.
Granted...this was 3 years ago...

Has the swingers club downstairs finally decided to improve their facilities? I hope so, because corn fritters after a jaunt isn't the most satisfying experience. I hope they put it in with an upscale pasta restaurant!

No, the whole structure will be demolished. I imagine the basement swingers club will find another iconic landmark nearby.

They should go into the basement of that comic book store on 10th ave down the street. Nerds reading X-Men comics are far more unassuming than deep-fried chicken thighs.

Wait, what comic shop on 10th ave? Or do you mean Another Dimension on 10th street?
