2011 Fantasy football discussion thread
We'll get a thread going to talk fantasy ball as the other thread should be for discussion about the CP leagues by those in the CP leagues.
The season starts tonight, and pretty good chance that you own a player or two, and I'd guess that both teams defences are owned in most leagues too.
For those who need to know, Lance Moore is out for tonights game.

Don't know where you get that idea. There hasn't been any holdout talk since he reported to training camp a month ago.

Boy am I glad I sat Nelson...
I really should trade away some WR depth. I have Calvin Johnson, Wayne, Floyd, Nelson, Ford, and Amendola. I can see myself having the problem of sitting the wrong guy a lot this year.

Well I suppose I didn't use a 10th round pick on Jordy Nelson, and an 11th round pick on James Starks because I planned on starting them in week one. So I guess I should be pleased with how they did and hope 4-5 weeks from now they both have big roles in that offence, and they're still healthy.
Considering I gambled on Peyton Manning and Arian Foster...I'll probably need them if I am to have any hope.

Freaking James Starks. I knew i should have flexed him. I kept asking everyone between Starks, Julio Jones and AJ Green who I should flex and no one even discussed Starks. Oh well when he is the feature back by week 3 I'll start playing him. I drafted him ahead of Grant in both my leagues.

Nice, one game, and not only did he put me in the red the first time he touched the ball....now he's out for at least the next 4 weeks, and more likely 6 or 7 with a broken collar bone.

I just hate the lack of information coming out of Texan camp. Damn you Kubiak! Don't you know Fantasy owners have to know this stuff!!

I grabbed Ben Tate. as a handcuff, so as long as I get something tomorrow morning I at least have an out. Although I keep hearing that Ward would be the feature back.
