Folks we are now starting our open batch free agency period. We will work our way through multiple rounds of batches followed by an open batch where all remaining players will be available.
Please read all this carefully and make sure you understand how this works. If you have any questions now is the time to ask.
Remember you MUST have cap space to sign any UFAs and for ALL the offers you make.
You must email
cphlufa@yahoo.com with the following
- Name of the player you are making an offer on
- The term offered (years - up to a max 3)
- The per year amount of the contract
- The percentage of their AHL deal (in increments of 5%)
AND
- How much cap space you have and the total amount of the offers you are making
Include ALL your offers in one email - not separate emails.
If you make a trade before the batch deadline that impacts your cap space you may re-submit OR if no longer have enough cap room you MUST re-submit.
Any offers that don't include all the required info will simply be ignored. You will not be given a 2nd chance to correct your mistake.
The player will be awarded to the team that offers the highest average contract amount. If two teams offer the same average contract amount, the player will go to the team that offers the most years, followed by AHL %. In the event that two teams offer identical contracts, the player will be awarded to the team that finished lower in the standings last season.
