Anybody know a good restaurant/brunch for mothers day, that gives a good atmosphere and is reasonably priced, and will make mom feel special?

Galaxie Diner serves, by far, the best breakfast in Calgary, but the lineup is quite long on weekend mornings and it's not exactly the most formal of restaurants.

If you're looking for something a little more classy, The Metropolitan Grill has a pretty nice brunch and is reasonably priced.

My suggestion would be to make dinner for your mother. It might not be as easy, but at the same time it costs a hell of a lot less, and also it is one of those things that would be considered heartfelt and what not.

For instance last year I could have bought flowers for my mom, but instead I decided to pick some myself.... everyone was really happy about it, well other than my neighbor.

Take her to the Ginger Tea House. Mothers love that kind of stuff.

Siding Cafe in downtown Calgary is pretty great for brunch, although it can be busy on Sundays so you might want to make a reservation.
