I would not say any of those malls are close together.
Sunridge is NE, Market Mall is NW, Chinook South, South Centre way south.
I would generally avoid Macleod Trail on a Saturday.

Those are the malls that came up as closest in proximity to our new address. Dunno...
Looks like Sunridge and Market Malls are the closest.

Market Mall I think is the overall best. You can actually find parking and it has good stores. (No Timmys though)
Chinook has the best stores but the parking is just an effing joke. Go in the back way rather then off of Mcleod.
Sundridge and Southcentre are both a lower class mall to market and chinook

Parking at Chinook is fine now with the underground parkade accessed off of Macleod, but as J-bo09 said parking in the back is good, too. Best mall in town, for sure.
Market Mall is super boring. Sunridge is in Skidsville, but if you want to ease the transition from Edmonton to Calgary it'll probably feel most like home. Southcentre isn't that great, either.
If you want a killer food court without the usual chain restaurants, the new Farmers' Market on Heritage and Blackfoot is the best in the city.

Chinook is the biggest and offers the most, but is also the busiest especially on a Saturday so depends if you like that or not.
Next choice if you wanted something a little quieter would be Market Mall, it has only one level and covers more surface area so if you like walking around more that's the way to go.
SouthCenter is alright but it has a Coach store so if your woman has expensive taste avoid it at all costs...that store is nothing but trouble.
You may want to consider CrossIron Mills as well, its new and big so plenty of walking. Does get busy on weekends though.
Sunridge is ghetto...stay far, far away.

chinook has a phil and sebastion which is a pretty fancy schmancy coffee if you're looking for something like that, I think market mall only has a starbucks / second cup.
Chinook definitely has more interesting stores too, lego store, apple store, the cool psuedo-educational toy store with the jungle theme, chapters, and a movie theatre

I live in the south - so i am the most familiar with south Ctr and chinook.
chinook is likely the most "upscale" mall in Calgary with more high end stores - if you are getting there early saturday morning, parking is easy. if you are getting there at noon - then the mall/roads are busier
south ctr is a pretty typical mall
the malls you listed are pretty spread out over the city.

Market Mall is our favourite.
Our you can kick it 80's style and spend some time at Deerfoot Mall.

Just go to Marlborough mall first. Makes Sunridge seem nice.

Don't forget The Core / TD Square downtown.
Free parking on Saturday & Sundays and has a bunch of stores.

I'd rather go here than Sunridge or Market.

Yup, and the bonus to The Core is on nice days you can then walk down Stephen avenue and check everything out there.

Chinook and Market Mall are the best in the City. My favorite is Chinook but the parking is terrible.
Sunridge is terrible, would never go there.

I go on # of tattoos per person basis. Sunridge and CrossIron Mills are tops on that list.
Having said that I once saw a really hot chick at Sunridge that wore a completely transparent outfit so there's the super-slut factor to think about as well.

Market Mall is pretty nice, its clean, modern and has a nice selection.
Chinook Mall is busy in and around the area. It has the best store selection but always cluttered with tons of people.
Sunridge has a very 80's-90's feel to it, which adds character. In reality you can get anything at Sunridge that you could get at Market Mall its just dark and old.
SouthCenter is pretty far out of the way unless your already down there.
