So who here likes a bit of Sheldon in the evenings?

(I couldn't find a thread on the forums but apologies if I am mistaken)

That's a fair analysis actually, the things I find most amusing are those which allude to the comics I read or sci-fi I watch. The slapstick appears to be very much in the mold of 'Two and a Half Men' (a show I personally can't stand). My main source of enjoyment does stem from Sheldon as he possesses peculiarities which I sadly identify in myself.

@Regulator75 Looking at it now it would appear so, it looks better as a desktop admittedly :/

The show went off the rails last episode of season 4 IMO, before that how is it any worse than any other 30 minute show?

Some classic episodes IMO

Krypke Krawler
Levar Burton
Sheldons Speech
Vegas baby
Stu the Cockatu went to the Zoo

And so much more.

It likely resembles 2.5 men because the 2 shows have the same producer.

Meh...was funny for a bit, but every episode is the same. Very similar to 2 and 1/2 men.

Haha Stu the Cockatoo was brilliant! I especially enjoyed this scene:

I enjoy it. Definitely has some of the same humor as Two and a Half Men has.

I only started watching it because of Kaley Cuoco, I watched that horrible show 8 Rules for Dating my Teenage Daughter because of Kaley Cuoco.

Jim Parsons is a pretty good actor though to pull of Sheldan. Without him that show would be nothing.

Disagree - In my opinion Howard and his mother make the show.

One of my favourite shows. Lots of LOL moments.

The ongoing battle of wits between Sheldon Cooper and Wil Wheaton is hilarious.

I agree with CP it is on the top of my shows to watch.

The constant reference to geek things that I actually understand, sad as it is maybe, makes me come back for more.

Probably my favourite part of the series as a grad student is the constant reference to Wallowitz (sp) as Mr. and not Dr. like the rest.

"I Have a masters!!!"

"Doesn't everybody?" Hah...

Great show. Only started watching it within the last few months, so I have a lot of episodes to see.

Good show, I enjoy it. But as is the case with How I Met Your Mother, I find the main protagonist to be the weakest link in the show. I don't really find Leonard funny.

Watched only the first two seasons. Penny just doesn't do it for me for some reason.
