Her son may have shown tremendous courage, but she showed enormous resolve.

She did a lot for all of us, and has definitely earned her place in Canada's history.

RIP Betty.

Seeing her at the Olympic Opening Ceremonies last year was one of the most inspirational moments of the whole event to me.

Terry Fox is and always will be my hero.

It really says something about her accomplishments that I just got a text from a friend in Florida noting her passing.

I have always believed you can tell a lot about a person by the children they raised, and she raised one of the best
