Malicious Calgary neighbour admits web harassment spree

I can't help but wonder if the accused posts here. We've seen the 'tactic' he used discussed here many times.

Annoyed at his neighbours calling city bylaw enforcement about him and another neighbour, Michael Kenzie MacLeod embarked on a nine-month spree of ruthlessly harassing them through the Internet.

MacLeod, 35, who said he was formerly friends with Robert and Kathy Smith, set up e-mail accounts in their name that resulted in fictitious ads being placed on a local Internet website to sell merchandise.

They have had to change phone numbers and e-mail addresses they have used for 20 years.

No way they've had the same email address for 20 years. Are they still using their same AOL account from 1991?

D-bag thing for the guy to do (went way too far), but a lot of the "impacts" the victim lists, just scream of BS lawyer-speak looking for damages.

The comparison only works if the listing in the white pages contains name, address, phone number and a little ad that says "lonely lady lusting for commitment-free anal! also, 2010 Accord for sale".

Hey, I have had my hotmail address for 15 years. I don't even think it was a Microsoft product when I first got it...lol. Unfortunately it is now a cesspool of spam after all those years, but I still check in once a month or so just to keep it alive for nostalgia sakes.

I've got an email address with the then-current year in it (thanks for the recommendation Yahoo) from the 90s. Same as pylon though, any actual emails I get in it are buried in spam.

Well he did post several ads while he was in China and Orlando...

MacLeod also posted many of the fictitious ads using his laptop computer while visiting China and Orlando, Fla.
