Floyd Landis comes clean about PED's...implicates several others.
Quote:
In a lengthy telephone interview from California, Landis detailed extensive, consistent use of the red blood cell booster erythropoietin (commonly known as EPO), testosterone, human growth hormone and frequent blood transfusions, along with female hormones and a one-time experiment with insulin, during the years he rode for the U.S. Postal Service and Switzerland-based Phonak teams.
Landis confirmed he sent e-mails to cycling and anti-doping officials over the past few weeks, implicating dozens of other athletes, team management and owners and officials of the sport's national and international governing bodies. ESPN.com is seeking further evidence and comment from those individuals
Reading the whole article one gets the feeling that he knew he could never shake his positive tests, and if he was going down he was going to take everyone he could with him.
^^ Haha. You have to match your subject with your verb.
But back to the topic. Landis is scum. Everything he says here might be accurate but he's already tarnished every last ounce of credibility he may have had. So he's just blowing air.

"I'd remind everybody that this is a man that's been under oath several times and had a very different version," Armstrong said. "This is a man that wrote a book for profit that had a completely different version. This is somebody that took, some would say, close to US$1 million from innocent people for his defence under a different premise. Now when it's all run out the story changes."
________ Colorado Dispensaries
Someone has to step up and try to stop all the drug use and doping. I think everyone in cycling that competes at the top level must be doing something.
Landis has lost everything, what more does he have to lose? He may be crazy, but I think he's trying to straighten out the sport and get som credibility back to the cycling world. I think a bit of his motivation is to prove that he is one of many many cheaters, and something should be done to try and fix cycling

Everything he said there is correct.
I would like to see what evidence Floyd has. His word isnt worth anything, proof on the other hand is.

Armstrong said he would not pursue legal action against Landis. He said it would take too much money and effort and he wants to focus on his team, his family and his foundation, Livestrong.
Usually, if someone is slandering you, you take them to court and prove what they're saying isn't true. Hmmm...
Greg Lemond has been whining for years, choked that he was dethroned as the great American cyclist. I find it quite amazing that nothing more than circumstantial evidence is out there if Armstrong is such a big cheat.

This is starting to sounds a lot like baseball! Jose Canseco is just jealous and broke!
In all honesty, who hasn't assumed Armstrong (and every other rider) haven't been dirty for years? I would be surprised if even 1 rider was clean 100%.
I look at it the same way I look at Bonds. If everyone is cheating, then the best is still the best

Yeah..I admire Armstrong as much as anyone for all he has accomplished and overcome.
That being said, I find it almost impossible to believe that anyone could continually win the biggest race of the year when most everyone else was cheating and he was completely clean. It just doesnt add up if I am being honest about it.

The guy is a genetic freak, and until I see proof otherwise, that's what I'm going by. Do you know why he's so fast? Because he studies it like no one else has. He hired people and tested new products in wind tunnels to shave milliseconds off his time. He scouted stages months before the Tour to find the best places to attack. He trained longer and harder in the crappiest weather. He has an artery that is 3 times the size of most people's. And a resting heart rate of 29 BPM at his prime. He was given a physical gift. The only thing that has beat him is father time.
Cycling has, by far, the most comprehensive testing policy of all sports. You have to tell the federation where you will be at all times so they can show up with zero notice and tell you to piss in a cup.
If he's dirty, he's got some pretty amazing doctors. So far, there's been ZERO hard evidence. Innocent until proven guilty. And no one has proven a damn thing.
