Default Stampede Hiring Online Community Manager

I have no affiliation with the Stampede in any way whatsoever but this sounds like an interesting summer job opportunity.

  • Develop and implement community building strategies to attract and engage targeted communities and to foster social web interaction and dialogue with the Stampede
  • Plan and source multimedia content of interest to the online community
  • Manage and participate in online conversations
  • Monitor social media dashboard and research the web, and
  • Generate, analyze and interpret quantitative reports.
A Bachelor's Degree and other experience is required.

Seems like a lot of qualification requirements for a summer job.

Seems like not very much money for those qualification requirements.

I don't think it's a summer job per se but it is a temporary job that seems to run its course over the summer.

I have no idea what the going rate for a position like this might be. The Stampede is supposed to be a not-for-profit, right?
