Default Chinese Food - Dim Sum Downtown?

Other than Chinatown are there any Dim Sum places downtown?
I used to go to Kites in Penny Lane on 8 Ave until they tore the building down. I don't think Kites ever re-opened.

If you are downtown, why won't you just goto chinatown for dim sum?

U & Me is the cheapest (with good quality). Silver Dragon is the best. That's right downtown. If you are willing to go up the hill a bit, Central Grand at 16th and Centre St N is the best sea-food dim sum. I don't understand the OP's question, unless you want to have dim sum, but hate the Chinese.

I'm on 9th avenue and 8th street SW.. it's pretty far to huff it to Chinatown so I wanted to know if there were any places this side of downtown.

I can't drive to Chinatown either because there's no freaking parking there so going up the hill is actually a better option even though it's still out of the way. Around 17th Ave SW is an option too.

That place is so slow sometimes though. I like the place in the Cultural Centre, plus, they have all you can eat dim sum too if you want.
