Downloaded the new Demo today and it kicks some serious ass.
I know it's a demo, but all the elements that made MK awesome are still there, and the new ones are awesome. I was worried they would seem gimmicky, but they aren't.
Hopefully they use this as an opportunity for some creative DLC.
Highly recommend this to everyone, pretty sure it will be the only other game besides NHL and Arkham that I buy this year.
Picked it up on Playstation plus a week ago and couldn't agree more. Felt like a mixture of 2 and 3...only thing I hope they change is speed up the x-ray bone breaking scenes...felt like it slowed down the pace a little bit
I can't for the life of me do a fatality. Any help? They are like arrow left and right, right down and the arrow right with the O for Sub Zero, but when I try he just slaps him.
Any help?

Edit: nevermind, I just ripped Scorpions torso from the rest of his body.
Just chopped Sub Zero into 4 pieces!

I already have the Kollector's Edition for the PS3 pre-ordered. I've been waiting for a true next gen Mortal Kombat game since I bought my 360 about 5 years ago. I have DC vs MK which is decent but I cant wait for this to come out.
Picked up the Kollectors Edition yesterday, was looking for the tournament edition for that fight stick since it looks like it was pulled off an old arcade cabinet. Can't find them anywhere. Great game though, a lot to unlock.
Just an FYI for any PS3 players, if you happen to buy Mortal Kombat (the '95 movie) on Blu-ray (as it was re-released) then you will find an alternate costume for Jade inside the case. Amazon has it for $13.48.

Too bad I bought it last year when it was first released for $10.
I was hoping to play the game this weekend but it looks like because of the long weekend it wont get here until Monday or Tuesday.
It's hilarious though how I got my 11 year old niece hooked on the series. I was watching the first movie and she decided to watch it with me and liked it. Sounds like every time I played Mortal Kombat as a kid. Then again on those old ones it was like a 30 button combo that would only work on the 2nd Wed of the month, at exactly midnight under a crescent moon.
