Default Can't play Civ 2

I have a hankering to play Civ 2 but my windows 7 64 bit won't let me.

Anyone know how one can play these old games on Windows 7 64 bit?

OOPs thought I was in the tech forum. Sorry.

Right click, compatibility, run in XP mode?

If not, could be a combination of other issues?

edit: google it, there are a few solutions floating around on Apolyton forums, etc..

I go to install and Windows immediatly says "This version of this file is not compatable with the version of windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 or x64 version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."

Well, if you're on Windows 7 Professional or better, you can install it within Windows XP Mode.

Or, you can use VMware Player to play the game in a Windows 98 box.
