I'm not sure if anyone has been following this story but it got a little more interesting today with the accused homebuilder starting up a new business after filing for bankruptcy. It's a business that many are familiar with if you've seen the signs all over Calgary, Basements R Us.

I know a bunch of guys on here were looking to get their basements finished and had called these guys. Might want to get a second or third estimate before going ahead with them.

it would be hard to get excited about giving a company named Basements R Us more than $20.....especially if the R is turned backwards........

My buddy who lives in the south west (who had no idea of this until he saw on the news last night) just got his basement done by these guys I helped him move his stuff from his garage back into his basment a few days ago and I got to say they did a pretty awesome job. My buddy said they were on time sent in contractors, they made my buddy get city permits, everything looks pretty legit etc. We were shocked when we saw this on the news last night.
