I'm not travelling anywhere
With at least 3 travel threads on the first page of the off topic forum, I figured I'd make my own thread about NOT travelling.
Non-travellers of CP unite here!
What's up with all those crazies that travel?

We've recently been to Mexico for two weeks for some diving and relaxing and have some time booked for a jaunt into Nova Scotia in June. The missus is soon heading to the Vancouver area to visit our daughter and her hubby. We're looking at a river cruise in Europe and there will be something yet unplanned next winter. May head to L.A. this October for a conference/vacation.
Suck it up, Redvan. I'm just trying to bring some balance to your thread.

$20 and this book, problem solved.
We like to pretend otherwise, but Calgary/Alberta is pretty interesting place.

I'd love to travel here and there, if I had any money. But thanks for your balance, "MoneyGuy" Judging by your username you should lend me a plane ticket or two.

Hey that reminds me I might get to Seattle for some ball later this summer too...
It's not that I am against travelling. It's just that I get sick of 3+ threads on the front page asking for advice of what to do in city X. Well, why the frick did you plan to go there if you don't know what there is to do?

Where'd the thread ratings go? This one gets a -1. It would have been -2 but the tags made me laugh.

So you start the non-travel thread and less than 20 posts in you're a hypocrite.

That's only 2/3 of the amount of threads arguing about mad beats, transformer bass or insane drops.
Also substantially less than the number of apple related threads.

I can pick up a frommers or surf over to trip advisor as easy as the next guy, but I prefer to get ideas from people whom a already 'know' on a forum. You can get a lot of different information instead of the standard tourist fare.

The Bigtime's have come crashing back to Earth, after a winter break spent in Maui the summer only looks to have two destinations:
-Buffalo Lake (Pelican Point), Alberta
-Panorama, BC

Great thread, I have felt the same way for years, and would love to join your pity party, but my parents just got back from Mexico, and they bought a time share which they have announced we need to use. So it looks like we are going on a trip before Christmas.
The kids are pretty pumped, and it looks like we can hit up Disney for a week.
