Music History is a lot of fun and it can be easy if you're into what is being taught. The prof I had for "Music of the 80s" was amazing. We played a lot of name that tune

The same can be said for Film. If they are teaching a specfic genre you enjoy, I'd go for it. I took the Western class and that was great!

Psychology and I've heard that Anthro is easy. I would choose based on when the classes are.

Yeah. That and try to pick one where you don't have to write a paper (or two).

Anthro 203 or Geog 213 are the most incredibly easiest options you will ever take.

Anthro 201 is pretty easy, two midterms and a non-cumulative final.

Try Soci 201...did Linda Henderson ever make it back to teaching here?

Also, it looks like you're allowed to take ECON 201 and 203...with that Engineering Econ under your belt it should be no sweat

Hey Peter, I have already taken GEOG213 with Slezak back in 2004.

I will look into the other one!

Thanks to everyone!

Being a huge 80s music fan that would really be an awsome class!!!

Speaking of which I need one more humanities Area 1 class.

"Acceptable courses include those in COLT, ENGL, GRST, HUMN, PHIL, RELS, and ROST."

Something from one of those, any suggestions?

ECON 201. It's a joke.

I wouldn't take ANTH 201 either. Very boring subject material and you have to memorize a lot of information for the final.

Both courses are easy, but I'd go with ECON 201. I've been to about five classes all year and have about an 85% in it.

I'd take Econ201 if Holden still teaches there.

GRST 205 with Sigismund-Nielsen was very interesting.

But you do 2 papers and 2 SA exams, so it it's alot of work for just an option.

I just finished 213 with Slezak today, what an amazing class.

Pretty much any FILM course is easy pickings; FILM 200 is a joke if you can take that.

I hear you with the humanities options. They are a pain. I've ended up taking 3 rels classes (201, 203, 205). They are all pretty easy. Especially if you get a good prof. Last semester I had Haynes, she's a grad student and was super easy. Dr. White is also pretty good.
For the person who asked about soci 201 with Henderson, she is back and teaching some courses. As far as I can tell, she is scheduled to teach soci 201 in the winter 06 semester.
Also, for those looking for an easy course. My sister took a course called COMS 401.03 "FOOD CULTURE." She took it in the spring a few years ago. They are offering it in the winter 06. They might be offering it this spring/summer (i'd check but the infonet is down). It is pretty funny, as a class they went to Peter's Drive Inn and other local restaurants.

Don't worry about if the course is easy or not.
My suggestion is to go for something that you find interesting, expand your horizons and all that.

I took a course a couple of years ago, History 205 Encounters in history. They take three periods and places and examine them. For me it was the Witch burnings in Salem, the French Revolution, and early communist Russia.
There are some essays, but it's mostly a discussion class. I really enjoyed it.

PHIL279 - Logic I

If you know anything about logic ( T and T = T, T and F = F, T or F = T, etc) then this should be a breeze for you.

That kind of stuff is the basis of digital logic.

That is the kind of stuff which I thought was quite interesting.

Thanks bud, I will check this one out as well as the class Mango was talking about.

Yeah my girlfirend had a similar class, I wanted to use Karnaugh maps on that shinguard.. I can't believe I remembered the phrase Karnaugh Maps..

Personally, I'd take some history, but I'm a history nerd.
