A good 5-2 win over Phoenix. Tim Connolly led the way with 2 goals and 2 assists. Dan Ellis got the rare start and stopped 30 of 32 shots. Marian Hossa and Lubomir Visnovsky sat out the game resting their fatigue. Datsyuk was given only 3rd line minutes to get rest as well.

Halak gets benched for this one and Nittymaki plays very well. The PP was the difference as the Jackets went 3 for 6. Nitty could see the majority of the starts for the rest of the season.
