Devils/Avs Trade

[Antithesis]

I had been concerned about Markov and his possible rating next year, and also on some level, his durability going forward. As such, I have the following trade to announce:

To Devils:

D Brad Stuart

To Avs:

D Andrei Markov
ECHL forward Austin Watson

I know some may not be a big fan of this trade but I like Stuart, he was doing well offensively this season, and Lidstrom won't be there in Detroit forever. I guess I am paying for a sure thing, as opposed to having a guy on my roster who is a bit of a gamble.

I am really not sure what I am going to do with Markov in the off season since he is a UFA but getting Watson helped. Stuart played amazing for me so I hope it doesnt mess around with my team chemistry but at the same time I needed a shake up, the team has not played great since Ovie came in.

Wow. Like it for the devils. Gotta move a solid peice for an upgrade though.

Markov is a big question mark with his injuries, but should still have an good rating the next few years.
