Wow and it's not even from this episode. In scenes from next week you hear Kelly the stupidest person on the face of the earth says this....
Kelly: In your life there's a pattern of you not making commitments!
Ron: What? Commitments like the Army?
Kelly: You got out of that too, didn't you?
Ron: How?
Kelly: You got out of that by being a P.O.W.!
So he is a quitter because he is captured and tortured by Iraqis! Holy Crap!! Kendra said some pretty stupid things last season (ie. africans should stop breeding) but at least she was hot.
I hope he slaps her!
Anyways Rob and Amber should win this thing. Getting Sanjay to help them for the entire leg without getting any money is genius.
and Joyce looks way better without hair.

That girl definitely is not pretty enough to get away with that type of behaviour.

The black couple wins it all I bet...I think they got the mojo after she cut her hair off.

I think the black couple will win as well. To see a woman cut off all her hair like that....that is some serious determination.
So glad Sally and Mary got the boots!!!!!!

I was shocked she would says such a Dumb thing. She keeps getting more and more annoying to me. I hope He gets a clue and Drops her after this is all over.
I Hope Rob and Amber win it all but Would be fine with the Black couple as well. They are a great team. Very supportive of each other and work very well together. Very deserving winners to me.
Kudos to the old couple as well. They sure have spunk and determination. But Gretchens shrill voice sure is annoying...

Like Gretchen does not take the cake as the most oblivious, annoying contestant yet!!
(btw, what did Phil say to them at the end about them being the something, something in 4th place)
Those two are like the Chris' of the Apprentice. Only stuck aruond because each time someone else screwed up royally.

Phil said they were the oldest couple to ever make it this far...
I don't think the old people can compete with any of the remaining teams though. I think they're gone next episode and then Uchenna and Joyce win 1st, Rob and Amber 2nd and Ron and Kelly 3rd in the final episode.
I was surprised Unchenna and Joyce didn't win anything for finishing first last night...anyone have any idea why? Rob and Amber got ripped off on the previous episode for not winning anything for finishing first, and then just getting bunched up with everyone else anyway when they were waiting for the train. I thought that was pretty stupid; should have just made it a real pit-stop. Maybe it was so they could count that one as a non-elimination round....

I hear you, her voice is truely painful. However, it was pretty funny to see her up in that elephant yelling, "Push! Push! OH- we have a Bad Elephant."
I'm pretty sure the elephant was fine. Perhap if you weren't IN IT, it would be easier to push.

Yah that was a bad choice. She was told to get in the elephant by one of the guys around her..Still she should have said no.. She also could have gotten out. Nothing like making a 600 pound Elephant a 700 pound one.

With the new rules the past two seasons on only having a couple fast forwards for the entire race (instead of nearly every leg) it has changed the reward for the legs. If the fast forward occurs on a non-elimination leg (as was the case for Ray and Deana earlier) there is a prize. The "prize" for Joyce and Uchenna was not getting eliminated and making it to the final four. Atleast I think it was that way last race as well.
I have no problem with making it a double leg. In fact I liked it....that was a tough leg. A 5000 mile flight, long train ride, a completely different culture to deal with, and quite a bit of walking and driving around in hot conditions. It really made this leg about keeping your head together while exhausted...which Lynn and Alex didn't seem to do by not trusting the cab driver to find the big castle and jumping out and running around without direction, while Meredith did in the end keep his cool and persevered (not Gretchen she lost her wits years ago I think!).

I don't really find her that annoying, she gets on your nerves a bit but she's an old lady, and she seems like a real nice person. Kelly is just about the dumbest bitch I've ever seen.

I know a lot of people hate Rob but he makes the whole thing very amusing. I mean the Amazing Race 7 has awesome ratings even beating the apprentice now because of him.
hehehe "It's tough organizing Indian Labour" and then he grabs 2 little kids off the street to help him push a 600lb elephant. hehehe.
Kelly needs to go though. how can she be an ex beauty queen?? my god if she can win....

Although I would like Rob and Amber to win the whole thing, I think the black couple might win it all. But Rob and Amber have played this game very well. The use of Sanjay as a guide was brilliant on Rob's part.

I was seriously worried that The old guy (Meredith) was going to have a heart attack or something. I'm sure the Amazing Race Medical teams were hovering extra close with a defib kit for that challenge.
I can forsee future Racers trying to rope in locals as guides in the future.

I don't know why they don't do it now. The only other person to try this strategy before was psycho Jonathan. I would totally ask them. I mean in some 3rd/5th world countries a few dollars would mean a months income for them. Of course you have to find someone that speaks good english. hehe
But i'm sure the producers don't pick the smartest people, to make the race more competitive. some of these guys they have on there can't find their way home some nites.

Is it really that brilliant though? It just seems like common sense to me, are you telling me no one has tried or done this before (I just started watching this show)?
Also, what is up with that idiot Rob bossing around the people who are volunteering to help him. What a little f'n ******. I'm not anti-american by any means but that kind of attitude is why American tourists are not thought of favorably in many places.

She sure was freaking out...my initial reaction was - it's just hair but was not so subtley reminded that many girls value their hair more than their spouses....
I'd like to see them ratchet it up a notch. If they visit Japan - the Fast Forward should go Yakuza style. Lose a pinky, or lose the race!

Rob has been one of the most polite contestants ever in this show when it comes to the local people he comes across... Maybe not to the other contestants. But I don't see your beef.
Also No, there really hasn't been anyone to basically contract out an Idian dude for a day to help them with the locals.
