Wow, Senators roll over the Habs....7-1. The Thrashers have a great start to the game jumping out to a 3-0 lead but the Bruins score three in the third and score in Double OT for the win.

Can the Habs rebound from a true beating and can the Thrashers finally win a game.....

Well Atlanta did beat the spread, so if you bet Atlanta you still won.

Bruins Eat Thrashers

It was the kind of game the playoffs are all about. The Thrashers enter the third period 3 goals up and feeling confident. Wellll, that didnt last long. Just 2:53 into the third the Bruins All Star first line potted one. 2 more goals at 10:50 and 13;49 tied the game. The Thrashers were running around like a chicken with its head cut off.

The game went through the first OT with no result. Then, at just 1:31 in the second Kovalchuk ended the nail biter.

Could the sweep be in the works? The Thrashers have lost thier number one Dman Chara. It is more then possible. We shall see on Friday night.

Game Stars

1 - Olaf Kolzig (BRU)
2 - Ilya Kovalchuk (BRU)
3 - Jeff O'Neill (THR)

Thrashers play a lot better than the 1st couples games... but still come up short in the final score.

With Chara out... you can probably stick a fork in us.

Senators Powerplay fully Charged.

On the Strength of 4 powerplays goals in 9 chances the Senators walk away with a 7-1 victory over the Habs...

What can be said everyone was firing on all Cylinders today.

The Senators scored early and set the tone for the Game.

Joe Sakic beat Theodore with one of his Patitent Wrist shots just 2.59 into the Game to put the home squad on top. It was the only goal of the period.

The 2nd period saw the Senators blow the game wide open. First it was Morrison who made Therien pay for his Boarding Penelty scoring the first PP goal.

Then It was Klesla's Turn to Blast a slapshot by Theodore on a great feed by Alfredsson.

It was Morrison again scoring a PP goal. Extracting some Revenge on Bertuzzi who had Speared Morrision earlier and was sitting for 5 minutes. How that does not deserver a game misconduct is beyond me.

The Period ended with the Sens up 4-0.

The 3rd period saw the Senators Score again. It came Early. Just 14 seconds into the period Theodore was still adjusting his Water bottle when Boynton fired the Senators 5th goal by him.. That was enough as Theodore was pulled for the 3rd Straight Game.

The Habs finally scored a PP goal of there own to make it a 5-1 score. Bertuzzi who somehow escaped being thrown out of the game earlier assisted on this goal.

The Senators added 2 more PP Goals to close out the Game. One by Bondra his first of the Playoffs we hope this is the start of a great run for him. The other by Alfredsson.

The Games 3 stars were

Daniel Alfredsson 1 goal and 3 Assists
Joe Sakic with 1 Goal and 2 Assists
Brendan Morrison 2 Goals.
