Burn Notice on USA Network
Hey Guys,
After seeing the FX Justified thread i figured i needed to make a thread about one of the best shows on TV that you can't see in Canada.
From TV.com
Quote:
Spies don't get fired; they get burned. Michael Westen receives a "burn notice" while on assignment in Nigeria. Dumped in his Miami hometown with no money or resources to his name, Michael works as a freelance spy/private investigator to fund his investigation into who burned him and why.

My Fiance and I love the show, it has great writing, and it's funny. Stories are wonderful, and it's been getting better every season. Think of it as a better more serious Chuck.
Highly recommended. Anybody else a fan?
Best of all it stars Bruce Campbell as one of the main characters.

Great show. In my top 5 current shows.
I will own this series on DVD someday.

First two seasons were on sale at Future Shop for $20 each, at least as of last week. I think they are still on sale until June?

Yes, great show.
Did you know that the actress who plays Fiona was the girl that Pacino tangos with in Scent of a Woman?
The next season starts soon, and USA has already picked it up for 2 more seasons, which means there are actually more episodes to come than have already aired (because it had a short first season).
-----
A quick Google search indicates that SuperChannel aired the first 2 seasons in Canada, but it's no longer showing on their website as one of the series they air.

I watched the first 20 minutes of the first episode and wasn't that intrigued to continue. I should attempt to watch it again I suppose, but aww...

When I was watching it was on Super Channel. Did some looking around and it sounds like they straight up dropped the show in the middle of season 3 back in February.

I own the first 2 seasons and am counting the day until it resumes (june 3rd). Bought it on a whim a few Years ago because of Bruce Campbell...the whoole cast is really good. I really want mythbusters to have a burn notice show.

That's a great catch!
I was watching Scent of a Woman about a month ago and thinking she looked familiar from somewhere recently. Now I know where!

so i'm only 2 episodes in but i'm already hooked. it's like Maguyver meets Chuck meets Jason Bourne, and Bruce Campbell just puts it over the top. what's even better is that i had no idea the show is already on season 4, so i get 3 whole seasons to look forward to powering through
sometimes being late to the party rules

Damn, maybe I should give it another chance, like I said, I watched the first 20 minutes of the first episode and wasn't hooked. Then again it took like 4 episodes of True Blood to get hooked. I'll take your word for it and try and watch it again.

I really like the show, are we going to be able to get the next season in Canada? The main story line was really starting to pick up.

I have watched the first 2 episodes of season 4. Since no one is airing them in Canada, I don't have any personal qualms about "acquiring" them through other methods.
I like the direction they're going with the new season, the season storylines were starting to get a little repetitive and they've shaken things up a bit.
