2) Linkin Park (not yet)
3) Creed (even though they broke up) nope
4) Trapt (nope)
5) Velvet Revolver (not yet)
6) Alter Bridge (not yet)
7 ) Metallica (yes once)
8) Def Leppard (many times)
9 ) Skid Row (many times)
10) Story Of The Year (no)

I dont really have a favourite artist, or a favourite band, its kinda wierd after downloading 10,000+ MP3s, you would think I have one.
I have a bazillion favourite songs, but no artist.
I like a lot of stuff by U2 though..........

Lagwagon/JoeyCape (seen em once)
Mad Caddies (6 or 7 times now.. they love Calgary)
I can't really think of others who are really favourites.. although I would like to mention that Story Of The Year I have seen twice and they put on one of the most amazing live shows I have ever seen. Choreographed jumps and stuff, one of the guitarists doing backflips.. it's downright amazing.

Bad Religion. I've seen them in 2 different continents, and 3 different countries.
Hey Kermit, I thought you would like to know I gave EMO a try: I went down to the Night Gallery Sat night and caught a Miko show. The only thing worse than the music was the Wild Turkey I regurgitated at 3AM in front of my house....but hey, I tried!!

troutman- yes, I do like Limp Bizkit. It's cool that you don't like them. It's free country everyone is in titled to their own opinion.

my favourite music is rock/classic rock.
however when it comes to my favourites:
1. Garth Brooks - never seen him in concert, doubt I ever will now.
2. Lonestar - Richie MacDonald is one of the best vocalists out there, love the songs as well (especially the non-love songs, and the ones that are pure cheese)
3. Slainte Mhath - no vocals, but an entertaining band that's super tallented, they are the only one of the three that I've seen live.
I'm not a huge country fan (I do like it though) but top 2 are Garth/Lonestar

Yes, enjoy whatever music you like. People have their own tastes. I'm sure most people would hate a lot of the music I listen to.

1. Metallica(1)
2. Rob Zombie(Doubt I'll ever get to see him live since he only comes to Canada like twice a tour)
Other than that I cant really say I have any other favorite bands. There's songs I like from different bands but I wouldnt really call me a fan of them.

Mrs. Cowperson and I are quasi-Lyle Lovett stalkers, off to San Antonio to see him down there in a few weeks. He's sort of an excuse to go to an interesting place and he tours constantly so there's lots of choices.
Lately, I've had Alanis Morrissette in the CD player in the vehicle more often than not.
Patty Loveless bluegrass stuff.
Never tire of Gordon Lightfoot.
A Canadian country singer named John Landry is good for summer driving with the windows down and the toe tapping.

Currently listening to Jet, Flogging Molly.
Quite like The Beatles too. (I'm from Liverpool area so that's a given. However I couldn't stand Frankie goes to Hollywood!)

1) Metallica (Seen them twice)
2) A Perfect Circle (Never seen them in concert)
Besides that my tastes are pretty eclectic. I like particular songs in all sort of genres, but I don't think I would have a favorite artist in particular.

Bad Religion is also my favourite band but I have only seen them in a half hour set for the warped tour. I was supossed to see them in Myrtle Beach a few years ago and also never made it out to Calgary the last time they were there. Rest assured I will see them the next time they cruise by western canada. I envy you Plett.

1. AC/DC - 5 times, great live show, their newer stuff isn't that good, but their old stuff is still great
2. Tragically Hip - 4 times, always interesting with Gord Downie at the helm
3. Metallica - 3 times, love their old stuff, new stuff not so much, good live show
4. Ozzy - 1 time, I almost don't like his new found popularity, but his music is always incredible, and he's incredibly coherent when you put a mike in his hand.
5. Megadeth - 1 time, new album out in September, hope they tour in Calgary again. Thought they were done for when Mustaine busted himself up.
