How does this impact the Stamps? Do they still draft Lumsden (which I don't think were going to do anyways). More importantly how does this impact potential trade value of the #1 pick?

Edit:
Blunder #1 "Lumsdsen Signs by Seahawks" - man that is some bad English.
Blunder #2 - I guess this should have gone in the Stampders section.

Well, based on an article in the Sun today, it doesn't seem that the Stamps are even keen on Lumsden..the guy's a tailback and likely won't get to play since Joffrey Reynolds is signed up long term (and he's going to be better than Lumsden). If any reason for the Stamps to draft him, it would be for trade bait...but that value may have gone down now. With the Stamps going for an all Canadian OLine, I would bet that they draft an OLineman regardless.

Summary: probably no effect on the Stamps.

Lumsden not picked in the NFL draft would be the best thing for Calgary.
Of course my Seahawks cap off a average draaft and so so free agent signing season by adding him in.

Ottawa, Toronto, or Hamilton would have loved to been able to have Lumsden, for marketing purposes, let alone being a decent CFL running back (and HAM and OTT don't have any running game).

The Stamps could've got a decent player from one of those teams (already in the league), plus, just lose a couple spots in the draft.

Even though I might draft him ,even now, I hope the kid strikes terror into the linemen of the NFL,breaks through the regiment of Linebackers and achieves a huge fame as the fastest man from Canada.(not on skates, oops we are not on ..)
