I've heard from a couple of people that Bow Trail is totally blocked up near Sarcee due to bus wipe-outs.

EDIT: haha beaten by mere seconds.

How many accidents have you caused because you're surfing the internet while in your car?

Do you think maybe that is part of the reason traffic is so bad? People using their phones have crashed maybe?

No, people freak out when they see white stuff and either drive 50 under the limit or 10 over...

Jokes aside, I'm home now- 75 minutes from DT to westhills area. Not bad considering. We left half hour early though to avoid the worst.

I parked and took the train in today. The last thing I wanted to do was deal with the #### show that is the commute home.

Not gonna lie, I'd light my own hair on fire and beat it out with a shovel if I had to deal with that multiple times a year.

Meh, Stoney Trail and 84th can be a southies best friend.

Then again, I have the luxury of choosing what time I go to work and when I go home... and I never pick rushhour... that might have more to do with it.

It is days like today I pat myself on the back for buying a condo close enough to work that I am able to walk to and from everyday. I might have been a bit chilly on the walk this morning/afternoon but a 10 minute walk beats an hour + commute, even on the coldest days IMO.
