VANCOUVER— One of British Columbia’s busiest hospitals is under fire after it was forced to temporarily perform triage among the Timbits in the early morning hours Tuesday.
The Tim Hortons restaurant, located inside the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, double doubled as a makeshift emergency unit because too many patients and too few beds forced hospital staff to scramble to find room for five patients.
Here's hoping they were served double doubles at least while they waited!
There are absolutely no other rooms in the hospital? I find the rooms in the hospital are so damn big they can stick another person in there comfortably.
