Default FS: Monster Turbine Headphones.

Hey CP. Bought these just over a month ago and don't need them anymore as I'm gonna get the Dr. Dre headphones.

They come with a product replacement plan from Best Buy and come new for 180+30 dollars for the product replacement plan.
I'm willing to sell for 130 OBO

Good price and excellent IEMs. If I didn't just buy a pair I'd be all over this.

PS Don't get the Beats! There's better stuff at Long & McQuade for $150 cheaper

How do these compare to etymotics stuff?

Specifically, the hf5's.

I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. All I can tell ya is that they're the best headphones I've ever had and I've been raving about them to everyone. I just need some over-ear headphones which is why I'm looking to get rid of these

Beats are amazing sound and look good. Not ugly like most other over ear.

They are pretty, but they amount to a $350 accessory. Which is great, if you're looking to accessorize But if you're looking for the best headphones for your money, they aren't it.

What would you recommend for good over-ears?

The solos are $200 at Bestbuy. I use these, and would recommend them to anyone. Granted there are ones out there that may sound better, but for a pair of headphones that are not noise cancelling they are amazing! Cut out almost all outside noise, and are comfortable. Hug you head, and are not bulky.

These are the $350 studios

Are you looking for open or closed? Is noise cancelling a must or is good isolation sufficient?

I spent about an hour auditioning the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro, Shure SRH840,
Shure SRH440, Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, and Audio Technica ATH-M50s against the set of Beats By Dre Studios I had just bought. The Beats were about the middle of the pack. I liked them over the SRH440s and the 280 Pros, but the rest were noticeably better. Each had their own strengths and weaknesses but the M50s were just a great all-around performer.

All of these headphones are closed circumaural (around ear) headphones for $200 or less (except of course the $350 Beats).
