Default To the rude driver at Macleod Trail South and Southland Avenue

I am Canucks fan who is visiting Calgary this week. When I was walking along Macleod Trail South near Southland Avenue around 5 pm on Sunday March 6th a driver in a beat up Pontiac Grand-Am flipped the bird at me. The whole reason this d-bag did it was because I had a Canucks jersey and scarf on. I don't mind getting teased with clever insults but it just seems pathetic to randomly flip the bird at someone because you don't like the team they cheer for. Anyway, I still have enjoyed my time so far in Calgary. Almost everyone I have encountered has been friendly and courteous.

The Flames don't have any players who dive? Try defending the antics of Glencross and Bourque.

I see nothing wrong with what that driver did.

That's fine, but don't complain when some d-bag in Vancouver flips the bird at you simply because you are wearing a Flames jersey.

I've been on your side of the coin before, I just laugh. It's really not a big deal. I can't believe you're so sensitive and then come onto a Calgary Flames based message board to whine about it.

They've got to take their finger out of their nose first.

Funny, I'd rather have the bird flipped to me than have to deal with clever insults.

To each his own.

Hey do you want some Flames fans to share their experiences wearing Flames stuff in the lower mainland?

If I was walking around Vancouver with a Flames jersey on, I would expect the same thing to happen.
