Heavy smoke in the S.E.
Dear S.E. dwellers - There is no need to panic, no need to tie up CFD with 8,000,000 911 calls about smoke in the area.

The Calgary Fire Department is currently experiencing a high call volume for reports of heavy smoke over the southeast part of the city.
The CFD said in a news release the smoke is believed to be the result of an unconfirmed incident happening on the Tsuu T'ina reserve. The resulting smoke is travelling from the west to the east and has been reported as far a McKenzie Towne.

Yeah, I woke up this morning and McKenzie Towne definitely smelled of smoke. I passed two fire trucks rushing down Shepard road and a third on Crowchild, so CFD is moving all over the place this morning.

Thanks. I went outside to get my newspaper around 6am and I can smell something burning. I checked my basement and some my heating vent to see if there's anything blocking the vent. I guess I don't have to worry now that you mentioned what's that campfire smell. Hmm... they just showed the fire at Tsuu T'ina on Global Morning News.
