Happy Birthday Mercedes Benz!
125 years of greatness. IMO the best mass engineered car ever.
1888 motorvagon
1954 300SL
SLR-Mclaren
Then there's this infamous dude's favorite

Mercedez shot right up in my books when I went to Stuttgart (Mercedez's hometown) and went to the Mercedez museum (which is huge). Really cool car company.

No it's not.
That interior reeks of mid 90's design cues. Probably because it's a concept conceived in 1996.

Who else is waiting for Jeremy Clarkson to come in this thread and just rip into the 1888 Motorwagen?

Something is wrong with me that I saw the name Mercedes Benz and immediately wondered which bar she strips at.

I looked at one a while ago. A lot seem to old style unless you buy a sporty one.

Most car companies cater to both those older, more subdued customers who want "old style" and, to those who want "new style", which usually are sporty.
That said, Mercedes does fall on the side that see their cars designed more by the white coat wearing Germans then the black turtleneck wearing ones.

"When you take it into a corner, the Motorwagen just doesn't feel composed! It rolls about and screams at you, with no poise whatsoever. And I've never been one to rave about the handling of a Mercedes, but even their worst was better than this!"

Why would you support a company that a majority shareholder and his family were heavy Nazi supports?

Hitler got the ball rolling in Germany, he started what would make them a economic powerhouse they are today. Today they are the reason the Euro is somewhat stable. Therefore Siel Heil!
But seriously Mercedez kicks ass mann.

They also "employed" prisoners from the concentration camps.
