Poor Polar Bears!
One had to swim 9 straight days and over 700kms to find some ice. I don't think it will make the return trip.
Maybe we should put them all in zoos. That is just torture and i don't think the ice cap situation will be changing any time soon.

You trying to make the girls cry ?
There's far more Polar Bears now, than there was when I was a boy.

I know that was a long time ago but I'm pretty sure that the polar bear populations are actually declining.

Such a gracious beast to be delivered such a devasating ecological blow. Whatever side of the global warming debate you are on you have to feel for these creatures.
I find it absolutely incredible a mammal could essential swim to Regina from here without a break! We sit here and praise our players for determination if they stay on the ice for a full two minute penalty kill. This thing swam for 9 bloody days without a break. I say Feaster should sign her.
Oh, and I blame it on the Chinese. They are causing the ice to recede so they can fish for polar bears and steal their penors.

We have already determined that humans are the far superior species. Why must we continue to suffer the existance of the lesser species?

The man-made global warming scam alarmists really like to use the cute polar bear to tug at the heart strings of those who don't know any better. They just want you to submit to carbon taxes.
The bears are not becoming extinct. The climate has always changed naturally, and animal populations will reflect these change in habitat.
There is a poster on CP here (forgot his name) who lives in the arctic that said himself that the polar bear die off is hype not supported by reality.
Here is a fair article talking about polar bears.

Most polar bear alarmism by the way, was again established from "projections" into the future by climate alarmists. I think they claimed that the population was going to be reduced by 2/3 in 50 years or something to that effect..........hogwash.

Whatever. The bears (along with many other species) would be suffering the same fate even if man hadn't hit the scene.

I propose we feed the entire population of Nunavut to the polar bears, and have the bears send a representative to Ottawa to discuss climate change.

I mean, yeah the babies are cute and adorable, but do we really want them to evolve as a species. One day . . . oh look at the cute little baby, look at him chewing on my shoes, he's so adorable.
the next day

Right, sorry, forgot about our representative, but I think he would be Ok - he's got diplomatic immunity as CP Ambassador, doesn't he?
