I tried it when I was down in Montana and it was good, no aftertaste like the aspartame kind. Wish I would have brought back more

Looks like test marketing.

Premium sodas made with cane sugar are a growing market niche. Lots of smaller bottlers out there finding success. The big boys are noticing the trend.

Very good. It brought back a lot of memories. I recommend it. Hopefully, Costco or a place like that will carry a larger quantity.

High fructose corn syrup, which some people believe is to blame for the "obesity epidemic" in North America.

So, this is finally in Canada? I know they had it in the States last year.

Call me when they bring back Crystal Pepsi like they should've done 15 years ago.

Sad day when using a real ingredient is new and inventive. You hear that, Taco Bell?

Bought a pack at Safeways tonight, had a can and then had a conversation with Elvis before peeling myself off of the ceiling.

Saw 12 pack of cans today...in the old school box.
May pick some up tomorrow.
PS- Pepsi-co owns Taco Bell.

So the Pepsi had no effect on you then...just another usual Friday night for CC.

I would have loved to be in that meeting.

"I got it! We'll ditch the corn syrup and add - get this - REAL sugar! Charge them double the price, pay the cane farmers half the price. GOLD!"

Well, in the U.S. yes you are correct. In Canada it's sucrose / glucose / fructose. Much betta? I dunno?? Actually it is. Corn syrup is killing the U.S.

Different name for the same thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-fructose_corn_syrup

Tried this about 6 months ago when a friend brought some back from the States. It's good, but normally I'm a diet cola drinker so to me it was like drinking syrop. I didn't actually realize that Pepsi had ever changed their formula. I remember when Coke changed over in the mid 80's and their sales dropped so much they re-introduced the original stuff as Coke Classic. My Dad had been a lifelong Coke drinker, and when they changed he switched to Pepsi and never looked back.
